Elected Representatives for the Town of Lodi

Town residents have various elected representatives and officers at the Local, County, State and Federal levels.  This page attempts to list all of the offices that Town residents can expect to appear on Town of Lodi ballots when applicable based on office term dates.


Local Government

The Town of Lodi is divided into five distinct voting wards.  Every voter's residential address is assigned to only one of those five wards.  Then there are three special voting districts that overlay only some of those voting wards (in Okee & Harmony Grove).  However all five voting wards (the entire Town) are within the same school district.    (PDF Map of Voting Wards & Special Districts)

Town Board

The Town Board is comprised of the Town Chairperson and four Town Supervisors.

One Special District in Okee

Okee has sewer service only (no water) provided by the Okee Sanitary District.  (All water in Okee is from private individual or shared wells.)  There are three elected members of the Okee Sanitary District Board.  (PDF Map Showing Okee Sanitary District)

Two Special Districts in Harmony Grove

Parts of Harmony Grove belong to the Harmony Grove Lake Protection & Rehabilitation District.  The HGLPRD is managed by its own District Board that consists of six members comprised as follows:  four members who are property owners within the district and elected by secret ballot at the District's annual meeting in August, one liaison appointed by the Town of Lodi and one liaison appointed by Columbia County.

(Note:  The four elected members of the Harmony Grove Lake Protection & Rehabilitation District Board are elected at their own annual meeting and therefore are NOT part of the election process conducted by the Town of Lodi and those offices do NOT appear on our ballots.)

Eastern Columbia County Joint Municipal Court

The Eastern Columbia County Joint Municipal Court rules upon complaints brought before it by law enforcement agencies for municipal ordinance violations and non-criminal traffic violations.  It is a multi-jurisdictional court, organized by and serving the Villages of Arlington, Cambria, Fall River, Friesland, Pardeeville, Poynette, Randolph, Rio, Wyocena, the City of Lodi and the Towns of Columbus, Dekorra and Lodi.

The Municipal Judge for the Eastern Columbia County Joint Municipal Court is an elected position.

The Municipal Court Committee "is comprised of one representative of each member municipality who shall be appointed by the Mayor, President or Chairman of the member municipality."  The Town has one representative on the Municipal Court Committee.

EMS District

The entire Town of Lodi is served by the Lodi Area EMS.  It is a joint municipal venture between the City of Lodi, the Town of Lodi and the Town of West Point.  The Town has two representatives on the EMS Commission.  One is a Town Board member and the other is appointed.  (PDF Map of Columbia County EMS Districts)

Fire District

The entire Town of Lodi is served by the Lodi Area Fire Department.  It is also a joint municipal venture between the City of Lodi, the Town of Lodi and the Town of West Point.  The Town has two representatives on the Fire District Commission.  One is a Town Board member and the other is appointed.  (PDF Map of Columbia County Fire Districts)

School District

The entire Town of Lodi is served by the School District of Lodi.  There are seven elected members of the School Board.  (PDF Map of Columbia County School Districts)


County Government

Columbia County Board

The Town of Lodi is represented by two County Supervisors on the Columbia County Board.  Voting Wards 1, 2 and 3 are represented as Columbia County Supervisory District 25.  Voting Wards 4 and 5 (along with parts of the City of Lodi) are represented as Columbia County Supervisory District 26.

Elected Columbia County Officers

Nine County officials are elected positions.  They are the County Clerk, the County Treasurer, the Register of Deeds, the Sheriff, the Clerk of Circuit Court, the District Attorney and the three Circuit Judges:  Branch I, Branch II, and Branch IIIList of Columbia County Elected Officials.


State Government

Wisconsin State Assembly

The Town of Lodi is represented in the Wisconsin State Assembly as part of Assembly District 42.

Wisconsin State Senate

The Town of Lodi is represented in the Wisconsin State Senate as part of Senate District 14.

Elected Wisconsin Constitutional Officers

Six State officials are elected positions.  They are the Governor, the Lieutenant Governor, the Secretary of State, the State Treasurer, the State Superintendent of Public Instruction, and the Attorney General.

Elected Wisconsin Judicial Officers

There are seven Supreme Court Justices.  There are also sixteen total State Court of Appeals Judges divided into four districts.  The Town of Lodi, being a part of Columbia County, is in District IV headquartered in Madison.


Federal Government

U.S. House of Representatives

The Town of Lodi is represented in the U.S. House of Representatives as part of Wisconsin's 6th Congressional District.

U.S. Senate

Wisconsin, like all states, is represented in the U.S. Senate by two Senators.

Elected U.S. Constitutional Officers

The office of the President of the United States.  The office of the Vice President of the United States.
