Dog LicenseAll dogs over five months old are required to be licensed in the Town of Lodi, Columbia County each year per Town of Lodi Ordinances and Wisconsin State Statutes. All dogs are required to be vaccinated against rabies within 30 days of reaching four months of age, and future protection be kept current. To Obtain a Dog License The Following is required: 1) Completed Dog License Application 2) Proof of Vaccination from Veterinarian
3) Payment of $12.00 license fee Late Fee: A $10.00 late fee per dog, is assessed if the dog license renewed after April 1 of every year. Mailing Instructions: To get a dog license by mail, please include the three required items as listed above as well as a self-addressed & stamped envelope to return the license, tag(s) and receipt to you. Notice to Owners Who Rent: If you own rental property, it is the landowner's responsibility to make sure that their renters are notified of the dog license requirement. Please provide a copy of the Dog License Application to any of your renters who own dogs or else direct them to the Town Hall or this site. Complete Ordinance Regulating Dogs: All dog owners should note that there are several other parts of the Town of Lodi Ordinance Section 6.21 Dogs Regulated that apply to them.
