We are hiring a seasonal employee to help manage our natural spaces during their busiest time of the year and transfer site attendee. This is an LTE position of 576 hours for the season. This position could possibly go longer. The work schedule will likely include evening and weekend hours. Season can start late-April and go as late as mid-October. Duties include ground maintenance, such as tree trimming, planting, mulching, trail maintenance, pet stations, refuse collection. Duties also include facility repair and maintenance such as cleaning, washing, painting and minor building repairs. Assist with transfer site operations. Requirements: Must be 18 years old. A valid driver’s license and good driving record is required. Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and the public. Ability to work independently or in a team environment, safely operate equipment necessary to perform the duties of the position. Job Description Transfer Site Operator The Town of Lodi is looking to hire an Assistant Lead Transfer Site Operator at the Town of Lodi Transfer site located at W10223 Larson Dr. Applicants must be 18 years of age or over, able to work during any or all the regular Transfer Site hours of Wednesdays from 3pm-7pm, Saturday from 8 am-4 pm, Sundays 8 am-12:00 noon. Must be able to communicate well with others, stand for long periods of time, lift 50 lbs or more, work in all weather conditions, have the ability to operate light machinery and help maintain Transfer Site property in a safe manner.
